Champion Homebase - Vision and Description

The Vision for our Home Base follows the vision laid out by Base Church
- Committed to the pillars of spiritual formation, community, mission and corporate worship
- Outworking these pillars through the Homebase rhythms of studying scripture, eating together, serving the community in practical ways, accountability, & reaching others outside the church
  - S.H.A.R.E. - Study, Help, Accountability, Reach, Eat
A discipleship group open to men and women
- note: this is not a couples group, though it may have a number of couples, but it's open to singles or individuals attending without their spouses
Bible Study - bi-weekly on Wednesday’s 7:15 pm continuing Sept 3rd, 2025
Location: Dave and BJ’s, 22 Sunrise Dr Kitchener
Curriculum:
- This Fall we're studying the topic “For An Audience of One: Seek the Praise That Comes From God Alone” and reading the book by R.T. Kendall

- We’ll tie in with church wide initiatives and themes as directed, as well as topics we choose
- Last Fall the whole church was studying how to share our faith and reach people for Jesus
  - We studied Tactics: A Game Plan for Sharing Your Christian Convictions, by Greg Koukl
- Beginning 2025 we studied The Awe of God using John Bevere’s book
  - The Awe of God, The Astounding Way a Healthy Fear of the Lord Transforms Your Life
Eating together -alternating monthly - one month on a Fri or Sat evening/alternate month on one of our regular Wed nights combining with Bible study discussion
